Message check too. The larger 6 piston calipers probably have a greater surface area than the 4 pistons in the stock caliper which will mean more travel is required to produce the same clamping load. Your point hadn't really crossed my mind before and it is a good point BTW. Putting larger rotors on with stock calipers keeps the balance of pedal travel distance the same as stock and the leverage factor of the larger rotor makes it stop with less effort on the pedal. In that brief moment that you are pushing the pedal down, there is noticeably less force you have to apply to get the car to slow down, but the travel distance is the same. It really is a good feeling when you dont have to work the quads to get the car to stop. =)
