My Z was suffering from low compression in #3, and since I had the heads rebuilt last spring, I knew that it had to be a problem with the bottom end. I thought it might be a cracked ring land, but as you can see below, it wasn't. I popped off the oil pan and found this sitting on the crank (engine was flipped over): 
Looking further, we discovered that it was as I guessed, a piece of the oil squirter for #3. 

And, the money shot: 
The cylinder wall looks decent - there are visible vertical lines, but I can't feel them with my fingernail. I have 88mm wisecos on the way :D
