Message It is like this, You will gain little, around 1-3% more power with the comression ratio's changing from 8.5-10.0. under boost. but the only problem is, is that it limits the power and boost you can run on pump gas bofore detonation. My Honest opinion is 9-9.5 is a great all around compression for boost and daily driving. As for the More power under the the boost, or spool time, the factor that is gonna change that the most is Tunning. Leaning it out and changing timing, before boost or during the the climb is the best way. but once boost is at a full or over a certain point don't be to aggressive. We have made plenty of high horsepower cars with non aggressive tunning. stayin around 11.1 Air fuels.
