| I learned to drive on a '76 280Z 2+2 4Spd Manual. My first car was a '85 300ZX Turbo, Maroon on Maroon. I eventually got it from stock to upgraded Shocks & Springs, Centerforce Clutch, Intake, Trust Exhaust (Uber Rare), Trust Front Strut Bar, and Z32 Twin Turbo Rims. After that I had a lapse in brain use where I bought a '97 Honda Prelude. It was a great car and fun to drive, but I missed boost. I looked into turbo- or supercharging it, but then I would have voided this nice extended warranty I had and all and it was too cherry a car to tear into... so I sold it after having it for a year... Then finally got my dream car... the car I'd been drooling over since 1989... a 300ZX Twin Turbo. Purchased my '91 in March 2000 with 82k miles. She'd seen better days but was overall the best condition Z I'd looked at buying. I'm the third owner and she immediately needed a heart transplant... previous owner had been running Castrol Syntec and Fram filters and couldn't understand why it had a rod knock in the motor... ugh. Anyway, its always been Zs for me. I have a special place in my heart (and my garage) for a Ferrari 355 Berlinetta and a R33 Skyline GT-R, but other than that, the Z32 has always been my dream. ^_^
