Message I guess my main point was its not as straightforward as the NA-TT swaps ppl are doing in greater numbers now.

Good to hear that somebody took the time to make a good manual for it.

As I said, I can definetly see the advantages to running the ls1.

As for durability, I'm sure they can hold 500 hp just fine. I was talking more about the 700-800hp and beyond range, in case that was what he was shooting for. It's just often been generally stated that the aluminum block engines wouldn't stand up to high boost pressures as well as cast iron block ones (i.e, Nissan using iron block in the Z, Ford switching to iron block for the S/C cobra). Though for any reasonable power level, I'm sure the LS1 would be just as reliable as the VG30.

And as for the LS6 comment- I was wondering why he wouldn't go with the hotter cams and intake system, especially if the install is essentially the same.
