| Lag affects streetability. Those same 9-second supras would be difficult to drive in the rain, on a cold day, etc. etc. - you know - real driving conditions. I'd say only about half the time I'm on the road, I can give it full throttle at a legal speed and expect to have traction with my lowly stage III* (see note) Z. People whine about lag because it makes the car difficult, and in some cases unsafe to drive. Say you accidentally pull out in front of a semi on a cold day. You stomp the gas... nothing happens... then you hit full boost @ 6k rpms and your wheels spin. You shift to the next gear - well crap - lag again... then wheelspin. Right as you begin to accelerate, 20,000 lbs. of pure metal smash into your cranium. The same Z on stock turbos would easily accelerate to a safe speed without much problem. This was of course an exaggerated analogy - but I'm sure you're intelligent enough to catch my drift. Laggy cars are great at the track, with slicks, in semi-controlled conditions. They aren't streetable. And that's why people complain ab00t lag. *Special note: Stages are for fa99075
