Message D-JAY: I agree, they are rare around here and I would like meeting some more Z owners. Check your e-mail. There are a few of us out here.....:
I got the e-mail. Thanks for the nice reply. We're also wanting to get a dyno day set up for the Z's - the Z Club is planning on doing it in March and we'd love to have more Z's come and join. The OK Z Club now has a forum, too: [ http://www.okzcc.org/phpbb2/index.php ]

Only1Z: It won't be fun driving for 7 minutes and then having to pull over because your brakes are fading so bad that you may as well not have any brakes. Just a tip... :-):
I currently have Axxis MetalMasters on my '91, which many people are saying will do well w/ better brake fluid - for High Speed Touring, but I've been told that I would need better rotors as well if I wanted to be competitive. The '94 is currently with OEM pads and rotors and will be "big-brake" as soon as we sell our '00 WS6 Trans Am.

Guapo: With the right pads, fluid, lines, and some cooling ducts, I experienced zero brake fade at Hallett.
I've been wondering if I should do brake lines, especially since mine are 13 years old now. I guess I should spend that little extra money and go ahead and get stainless steel braided lines - what do you think? What have you done to your car, to prepare it for Hallett?

rave: ignore the idiots and have fun here!
LOL - thanks! I guess I didn't see the excitement of "leghumping" here last night. I've come here for quite a bit of research, but I haven't posted much.

OkcTurboZ: As well as a few others. MistressZ, Chris-TTz, oakleyguy, D-JAY, and mugenracer are all local Oklahoma Z'ers. Nice to meet you. I will hope to be attending Hallett this year if all goes as planned. Later.
Nice to meet you! I've met Chris-TTz on OKSpeed, but I look forward to meeting all of you hopefully this spring or summer.

TtrboStarZ: asks a question, she doesn't get flamed. Not one person has said for you to search. I would just say for you to search through the member directory, but I bet you would get a better response just posting about it. And are you the same Lauren that used to have a cherry red pearl NA?
I apologize I did not search first. I did not realize you could search through the member directory until Spee e-mailed me and let me know. I've used the search function numerous times here, but did not realize a search function resided within the member list as well. Thank you for the tip, though. And, sorry I am not the same Lauren that had an NA - these are our first Z's and they are both TT's.

Tennyson how did you manage a 295RW # w/ just a pop charger?
Not quite sure on that one. One reason is that at the time it was running very lean - almost dangerously lean (13.5:1 - 15:1 at some points). I have since had the fuel system completely flushed out (my Z-mechanic said the fuel system seemed pretty carboned up and after we had it done, he said he couldn't believe how much crap came out of the fuel lines! yuck!), so we will dyno it again this week. I would not be surprised if the hp came down a bit, but the torque went up, with the engine getting adequate fuel now. In addition to the POPCharger, we also have a JUN flywheel and ACT clutch, which both help cut down on driveline loss, so we are actually able to transfer more power to the wheels.

MaxBoostTT: It's just after Midnight on Friday and I'm sitting here, which means one thing, I need a Z to attract the females =). A woman that can quote her dyno #'s, scores wayyy high in my book and I'd like to offer you the opportunity to pick me up before demand increases..
If it helps I'll have a 96TT real soon =)
LOL - I've been with him for almost 5 years. I had a 240sx for 2.5 years, and when I decided to sell it, I started looking for a Z32 2-seater NA. He noticed that the purchase price was only about $2k more for a TT than NA, so I checked on insurance differences and it was only $7/month more! We bought the '94 for me to drive until we found another TT (the '94 is rather brutal with the power), because Chris wanted the '94 - he has the time and money to do some insane mods to it - and wants to open-track it competitively. I actually got the first TT between the 2 of us! But if it weren't for him, I probably wouldn't have it!

Spee: Always good to have more road racers on board :-)
Thank you!!

ni[X]it: I believe this years will be a two day event...
That would be awesome!!
