Message one reason the Z doesn't go up as quickly as other sports cars with similar performance is

1. there are a LOT of Z's compared to similarly performing sports cars

2. they don't have the name regognition of porsche or corvette.

3. they are very reliable compared to the others, aka porsche especialy, don't know about corvettes so they tend to stay running and don't need owners with more $$ (like porsches) to stay on the road.

4. this is furthered by the NA Z's which are probably even cheaper to keep on the roads and because they make less power are cheaper but look pretty much just like the turbo Z's this brings the over all Z price down a bit more... rather than if the turbo Z's looked completely different, or the NA's never got made.

but eventualy ALL cars valuve will start going up at some point. my saab's goes up every year, I think it's worth $8k-$10K... payed $2k 27 years ago.

Z will go up too, no idea when and how much etc. etc. though, best bet is probably to compare to how corvette's prices change with age, or the non-911 porsches...

Just my opionions 8*)
