| Although we would have liked better to have built this engine ourselves, UltimateZ did the work and it eventually found its way to us as it was plagued with problems. We got it along with some dynocharts he had generated and it was low on power and running dangerously lean under boost. We spent a good bit of time going through this car and resolving a handfull of issues. Here are the list of powerplant mods: .020 Wiseco pistons Port matched intake and exhaust Stock exhaust manifolds JWT race heads with 5 angle valve job, port and polish JWT race cams w/HD springs (272 cams) JWT Dual-POP JWT Sport530BB turbos Nismo 555cc injectors Greddy Sidemount ICs GD divorced DPs Stillen Testpipes HKS HiPer Exhaust ZEMulator Tuned Once things were fixed, we took it to the dyno. Here are the results: Red = Pump fuel 1.1bar Blue = VP110 Race Fuel 1.5bar (which fell to 1.3bar by redline)
Here is the video of this pull: [ http://300zx.com/Videos/DynoVideos/Vincent%20Condry/vincentcondry-JWT530BB.mpg ] And here is the Image Gallery of his car: [ http://300zx.com/Image%20Gallery/Customer%20Cars/300ZX/Vincent%20Condry/index.htm ] I personally was under the impression that these turbos would produce more power, especially considering the amount of work put into the engine and other supporting mods. And $3450 for the pair is a bit over the top IMHO. Our stage2 turbos are only $2050 for the kit and they make 500RWHP on a stock engine and stock intercoolers. *shrug*
