If it's light over-spray, I wouldn't be too worried. Heavy paint might cause an inefficiency in operation. I've found "Aircraft Remover" will take just about ANY paint off of a metal surface, but DON'T use it anywhere near your Z. If you're worried, nice sets of OEM intercoolers run ~$150 or so. My $.02 on the mods selection. I would say go with some 555's next, it will allow you to run higher, safer boost (just make sure you get the ECU re-programmed). I would also suggest a boost controller, like you mentioned. I'm looking for one as well, particularly the Profec Spec II for it's simplistic functions. I'd much rather be able to keep my boost at a stock level 90% of the time, and crank it up when I get the itch. As for SMIC's, there has been quite a bit of talk lately about which ones are better. A quick search should reveal some good comparisons. A good investment if you plan on modding more in the future. And until you're running 500+ HP, I don't think many people on here would recommend the dual pop kit. Good luck with all of the upgrades, keep us posted... we love pics, ~Mike
