made a couple of options for how to say things. Such as, if you notice in the picture there is a checkbox for both MPH and RPM. If these are not checked just the number is spoken. If say, Speak RPM is checked and you are at 1,500 rpm it will say "fifteen hundred R P M" otherwise it would just say "one thousand five hundred". When I was programming it (the Microsoft speach engine I'm using) I found it had it's own vocabulary library and if I were to put "R P M" together like "rpm" it would automatically associate the abbreviatino to it's meaning and would speak "Revolutions Per Minute". It was neat but sounded a little to drawn out.
I think I speak for most when I say "We don't give 2 sh!ts" (n/m) - YugoBernie (NoVA) 11:40:06 01/15/03 (4)
