Well, the locks failed. the door just doesn't seal properly. there's too much play. Solution... i recently got on the phone and ordered the OEM Lamborghini latch system. Cost $300. This will fix the problem with the play in the door. it's just going to need some new fab work to fit. So, it looks like the kit WILL inclued OEM Lamborghini parts... =) It's only fair... i mean they DO have our lights... which brings me to something new... while i was searching the internet for the latch system, i stumbled across a replica diablo manufacturer. I found a replica `99 Diablo Roadster. The complete body kit runs @$20,000. comes with EVERYTHING for the body and interior. This manufacturer also has 2 sets of blueprints for chassis building (OEM replica and MFG mimic of OEM) cost of $1500 and $500 respectively. total cost for complete car without motor and transaxle would cost no more than $35,000... with mercedes 6.0 v-12 and 6-speed transaxle with axles,hubs and spindles would put the cost of the car close to the $60,000 mark... TOTALLY worth it... what do you guys think??? should i do it or not??
