Message Oddly enough the proper English unit for torque is lb-ft, not ft-lb. I still use "ft-lb" in speech though, it rolls off the tongue a little easier.

The Honda guys have a saying, "keep your torque for burnouts, I'll use my HP for the QM"... Or something like that anyway.
