After 5 or 6 runs I got 13.9 !! The car is basically stock with 144k miles! I guess this means its healthy right?
This is my official first time at track, my first time doesnt count because I only got 2 runs in because I got there late and I had oversized Dayton tires (stock wheels back then) and a bird's nest in the stock air box and a host of other little things wrong.

My group ran over to me and told me I left a BIG cloud of white smoke when I crossed the big end (POOF!). My dipstick kept popping out after each run and spattered oil all over the place under the hood, but this time it really spit oil out. My car was being herky-jerky at low rpm too. So I decided it would be smart to call it a day, everyone else agreed. My throttle was sticking again, so each run when I let off gas the car would just keep on trucking and the pedal would still be on the floor, so I would push the clutch in and it would bounce off rev limit for a sec and get unstuck. I kept forgetting to pop the hood and unstick the throttle. You know the two ventilation tubes on front? Well the driver side one gets loose and comes out a little and the throttle thing rubs against it and gets stuck up there at WOT (thanks HaloZ for showing me that). So the next day my Z was VERY herky jerky, couldnt get it past 5k rpm! Then it hit me, one side of throttle is sticky and the other isn't, it probably makes one throttle body more open then the other! I popped the hood, unstuck the throttle, reinstalled dip stick and YUP problem solved (whew!).

So, I learned some things from drag racing: drag racing is a filthy sport. I got rubber chunkies all over the rear bumper, my rims were filthy, the CAR was filthy. Just ... nasty. Drag racing is not for faggots, instead I think it's very manly, the smell of race gas and burnt rubber, I wanted to go eat a steak .. rare, and then win some money at the slots (like $60) and spend it on booze for the ladies, and smoke a cigar. Drag racing eats up alot of gas! I used up 1 gallon after 5 runs or so!

So my tank is so empty its not funny and they said the gas station is right down the road and I have NO cash left and cant even buy race gas if I wanted to. So when I finally saw the gas station I was so happy to see it because its pitch dark middle of f'ing nowhere, that I didnt see the BIG median. I jumped the median (BANG BANG) and rolled into the gas station and all I could think was now I cant sell the wheels and was about to shed tears. But, everything was fine! Wow forged wheels are the shit! If you saw this median you'd be nautious knowing I jumped it at like 30mph. I looked under the car next day and didnt see anything wrong.

The reason I'm really excited is because on my 13.9 run I knew I could do better because there were some things I could have done alot better. I had to shift slowly because if I didn't the clutch would just spin. So when I put my new clutch in I KNOW I'll get a better time. I think I have the launch figured out, If I dont give it enough wheel spin, the car chatters big time like chitty chitty bang bang. If I give too much gas then the car just sits there and spins all day. I think the perfect amount of wheel spin is just enough so it doesnt chatter. Which btw the subframe spacers: they dont eliminate chatter, they just make the car chatter at a much higher frequency and lower oscilations ( quicker bouncing, and doesnt bounce up and down as high ). I tightened them down as hard as I could and noticed it made the chatter even tighter. Should I tighten them even more with air impact wrench?

I kept lining up with Mitch (stock 350z) and we were dead even most of the time.

That's it thanks for reading!
