Message	I think it was mentioned before too that the 535s had a better fin set up for quicker spool compared the 1420's, but the 1420's fin setup would be better for top end. That seems to be inline with what you said from your results. But of course the 1420's are rated for more hp than the 535's so more lag/slower spool is kinda expected I would think.
