Message This car is a customer's 1990NA 2 seater with a replacement engine from one of our parts cars; 68,xxx miles on used motor.

This car is fitted with a single intake, UR pulley, gutted cats with 'testpipe-esque hack job as listed in my post before this one), HiPer cat-back exhaust, Fidanza flywheel, stock NA clutch, AshSPEC ECU, Stillen Headers, Lightweight accessory pulleys. Basically, this car has all the bolt-on mods..

With the AshSPEC v.4NA program it produced 213.4RWHP and 194.2RWft/lbs TQ. The program was modified over a few runs and to my suprise, with only minor fuel revision it was able to make 215.2RWHP and 195.5RWTQ on the 2nd pass. There were no notable differences in power output during the tuning process and I was not able to extract any more power from the engine after that 2nd run. Heatsoak played its part I'm sure. At its lowest point it made 208RWHP, but was usually 210+.

Here are the results:

On a side note, we also took a set of DOOLZ with us to see how the NA would perform with it. We have seen 10RWHP/10RWTQ gained at the 400RWHP level on TT's and we were predicting that there would be somewhere around 5RWHP/5RWTQ gained with it at the 200RWHP level. It became obvious that the relationship of filtration efficiency and total power output is not linear and there were no notable differences in power output (less than 2HP difference). Just FYI.

BTW, we have bought a video camera, a JVC GR-DV900. I will be getting the video of this dyno session up for all to see in the next day or two..
