That being said, I can't stand people who change lanes without checking their mirrors. What's even worse are people who block both lanes by making a half-assed attempt to pass another car, then sitting in the lane next to the car they thought they wanted to pass. I was late for work one morning, it was 4am, and I am in no way friendly at 4am. I merge onto the freeway, and there are only 3 other cars on the freeway. Two are cruising side by side about 10mph under the speed limit, and the 3rd is stuck behind them. I followed for about 2 miles, swerving from lane to lane, flashing my brights (BTW it was still dark), trying to get them to move. Finally, I straddled the two lanes with my high beams on until they did something. The 3rd guy got pissed off and flipped me off, but oh well, he got caught in the cross fire. The guy in the right lane finally got tired of my lights and slowed down. I pulled in front of the car on the left and slowed down to about 25, forcing them to pull over to the right lane. After that, I hauled ass the rest of the way to work without even seeing another car. I certainly didn't set the example for anyone, but I don't feel bad about what I did in the least.
