They are awesome fun to drive, and are built as solidly as a brick shit house.  Decent stock power (even the non-S is a hoot to drive) with the S Cooper.  Turn and it goes, unlike our 3500 oversteer/push monsters.  Don't get me wrong, I love to drive and road course my Z, but the MINI owns autocrosses and, with a proper driver, will be an excellent road course car.  All this while being an affordable DD.   Drive one at a dealership for hoots, you'll see. SS
