Message Greg, you probably know this, but I'm including for informational purposes for those unfamiliar...

I previously had the thermostatic switch, but have switched to an actual pressure switch. NX now sells their "advanced" bottle heater system which uses an actual pressure switch, but I just added a pressure switch to my existing system for cheaper. I can supply details to anyone interested....email at passinglane2003@yahoo.com.

The greatest benefit of the pressure switch is that it allows you to choose the pressure that you want rather than being stuck with the 85F/950psi setting.

Speaking about nitrous systems in general, I've found that many more components are needed beyond the basic "kits" that you can buy in order to make a nitrous kit really usable on a regular basis. Examples of additional components that *might* be needed are purge valves, timing retards, nitrous pressure gauges, rpm switches, better bottle valves, etc. Put another way, you will have to invest in more than just the kit if you want a safe, reliable, repeatable nitrous system. And regarding the "kits", nitrous systems are very modular, and with enough research anyone could build their own from scratch from the raw components, i.e., direct port systems, etc.
