| Well, I honestly don't know if it was her or the clutch, the clutch was super worn on one side, after 6000 miles. It might have worn down to the mounting bracket and caught that. I was not with her when the problem occurred but she did mess up in the fact that she tried to continue to drive. When she continued to drive it she could not get it to go, so then she started to burn up the clutch I would assume. The clutch got so hot it melted the copper pucks off and completely forged them to the flywheel and pressure plate ruining both of them. I'll make some pictures and make sure to post them, it's interesting. I've had nothing but trouble with the older RPS stage 3 clutch, I hear the new ones are better, but rather than risk another disaster and pain in the ass I got the JWT Heavy Duty, and let me tell you it's pretty damn nice not to have 50ft/lb pressure on the clutch to get the pressure plate to release.
