I don't give a crap if my car can beat x car on this 1/4 track, I care about how fast it feels, how fast it is in the real world, and hopefully someday on a road course... 1/4 mile times depend soooo much on the start, on the tires, how hard some ones willing to drop the clutch and all this other stuff that I don't really care about, and doesn't really matter when your on a road course. If you ask me, I think it's silly that so many people with Z's are obsessed with 1/4 times, they're desided more for road racing more than drag racing. Although I think the top speed at the end of the 1/4 mile can give a decent idea of how fast a car will feel and how fast it will be on a road course (compared to the same type of car with similar suspention etc.) Maybe it's because drag racing is more accessible than road racing... just my 2 cents
