Message I did most of the graphics work for the calendar, and I am the one that took over the calendar from a member on ttnet last year.
For the record, the calendar was changed over to my hands because I offered help, and then was eventually given the job because of computer and time constraints on the other member. It was done as a last minute effort, so as to produce a product a group of people had contributed to.
And as for the 'cafepress' choice, which has seemingly been put down, it was agreed upon by many people involved both years that this was the best choice. Because all ttnet'ers range around the country, and in other countries even, it was the easiest to get an online printer who can indivually ship the job. This printer was tested numerous times before even using it for the calendar, and has always produced hi-res great printing on a variety of products. Also, local printers would cost more, and would not let me buy them in small amounts, since a pre-order or group buy was out of the question. The person who I had inherited it from wants to get a mass ttnet paypal deal going on, and it was impossible to get a large amount of money all together at once for this.
Also, the pictures look fine to me in the pictures you have taken. You blew up the shots of the penny to man-size, and showed that picture is "pixelated". This must be a load of bs, because last year's was gorgeous, and this year's will too. If you are unsatisfied with the print, contact the printer, or have it returned for a refund. It won't break my heart that your whiny self is unhappy.
I work 40 hours a day, during the week, and you should not b*itch and moan that I didn't get back to you after lunch, it is not my full time job to field miscellaneous questions from someone that is going to whine from the beginning. I worked hard, and we all work hard, but I do this is my spare time, and I do this because I enjoy what I do, and I make sure I do not deliver a crappy product, and this product is up to specs according to myself and others.
I try and offer something that I can do well to this community, and all of my customers have received their products and services, and have been very happy with them. But ttnet seems to amaze me all the time, it seems to only offer negative attitudes to nice people doing good things in this world.
