I know you contacted them already, but perhaps a written letter of clear, calm factual information may get a better response. If you've tried the service manager and the owner of the dealership, I'd say you've exhausted the chain of command at the dealer, and need to take it to Nissan NA. I'd also let the owner know you are taking it to Nissan NA, and show him all the documentation you have which Dave recommended. How far away is the next closesest dealer? Unless you live in Montana, there should be one near by. Then, let all your other Nissan owner friends that Dealer A is FAR better than Dealer B. Not libel, but just the facts. Before I found TT.net, I took my Z to a Nissan dealer in CT for an electrical problem I was having. My situation was different, because I did not have a warranty. The charged me for 2 hours diagnostics, found nothing wrong, but the problem "magically" fixed itself after a "magical' 10 mile romp in my baby. I was not thrilled, because 2 minutes after leaving, the problem re-occured. I never went back to their service department. But I did go to the parts department, because there was a WICKED hot girl who worked there, who just so happened to be in love with the Z32... Then I found Coz :) Oh, and BTW, the guys at Tweeter of Manchester found my problem in less than one hour, and relocated my turbo timer for me at the same time, charging me only $90, compared to the $190 the dealer charged and didn't even fix anything. Incompetence is all about in the dealer arena, but I know there are good ones. The previous owner of my car had great sucess with his local dealer. But I'm more of a DIY guy. Best of luck.
