| know the laws. You are allowed to have clear taillights as long as a red reflector
portion remains. The red reflector is in the upper section of
my tails. Also...you must have colored bulbs in the tails. Red
for brake lights, and amber for turn signals. Both of those are
also present. According to local police, highway patrol, inspection
station officials, and state regulations my tails are 100% LEGAL. So, do some research and learn the law. It'll help you out.
