im almost done polishing mine- i tried the dremel = BAD! materials are too much money and it took way too long... i suggest a variable speed die grinder. electric is better because its quiet. use the grinder and various cones/sanding wheels/ drums to get a majority of the roughness out. i started with 60 then 90, 120, 180, 220 grits or some thing close to that (basically all that i could find). then i went back to 100 grit sand paper and started over all by hand. the 180 220, 320, 600, 1000- this may be a lot of steps but i found it easier in the long run... once you get to 1000 grit you water with a drop of dish soap to wet sand. i should have pics of mine with in a couple days im just finishing the wet sanding part. all together i have easily spent close to 40 hours on it; some of that time is also trial and error but it still isnt a quick job. i originally had planned on doing this and selling them but for the amount of time it takes i couldnt charge enough to make it worth it. good luck. regards ,shane
