Message	Optimally, ATA 100, 133 mode, and you are running a 80-conductor cable. In device manager under IDE controllers make sure you are in DMA mode as well, this will give the hard drive a dedicated memory channel. I had a similar problem on one of my older machines, video really taxes the hard drive and processor. Hope this helps
