| more of a "all go no show" kinda guy as opposed to a "all show - no go" kinda guy. I like to clean my car up and have it look nice, but that is a distant 2nd to getting her on an open road and letting her eat. Making the car do what it is capable of makes me grin from ear to ear. It is true that donuts are not the best for it, but I would rather see someone who took care of their car and kept all the maint up run it hard than someone just park it because it was too costly and let it rot to nothing. Most mods we do cost our cars some miles somewhere along the way. Tires, clutch, brakes, etc are expendable and can be replaced. I truely believe donuts are not as hard on a car as a few drag launches with slicks/drag radials. Once the tires break loose it slides pretty easy if you don't go from wet to dry etc. I know what you are saying though and I like to see people take care of them too. It is all good.
