Here are a few pics from the ClubZ Track Day that was on December 20th. There was a good showing of Z's, and a nice turnout overall with both A and B sessions full (~30cars) and the C/Instructor session had about the same. It rained most of the day, and lots of cars spun during their sessions. A few cars spun right in front of me with two highlights. First, a Sunset 350Z spun one turn ahead of me, and ended up on a 45 degree hill. I think he ruined his front bumper. Second, a car that was riding me I pointed by, and three turns later he was spun out in the thick mud - bummer for him! ;) Good thing Thunderhill is somewhat forgiving, as it has lots of runoff room (unlike Laguna Seca). I started out in my Z, but the wet from the rain combined with my slicks made for a slippery time. My buddy who came in his turbo GTI (337 version) let me take his car out for a few sessions. His car was pretty fun, pushed a bit, but with a little extra throttle and steering, I could get it to step out... ;) Onto the pics...
