there have been numerous threads about this topic. It boils down to a few things.. what your personal risk / comfort level is, how much you want to spend, and how much work you have done to your car. Me myself, the money isnt the object as much , my risk level is moderate, but I need a custom tune for my motor and mods... the way I see it ... I couldn't locate an apexi itc unit to add on to my hks afr .. so I am selling my hks afr and jwt 555 program and going with an ash spec ecu and later will custom tune on his dyno pump fuel and race fuel fuel maps with a custom switch... I think that people need to understand what they need to consider personally ... there have been enough comments by ash, specialty z, devin users, gms racing guys, spee, and whoever else to make an informed / educated decision. Until one car blows up .. I can't see howany1 can say that one particular chip is bad ( except maybe jet chips :) ... better question should be --has ash's chip blown up a car yet !! I haven't heard of any yet ...let this tread die .... the alternative would be a full stand alone system which I think financially is out of reach of alot of folks pockets ..
