Fuck the Jeep. Yea, it's fun and different, but god damn the thing is a headache. I've put hundreds of dollars into it, replaced damn near everything I can think of, and it runs *half decent*. It's literally falling apart in my hands, and I'm sick of it. Lots of money in, with VERY little return. Not to mention that I don't even want a well running '90 Jeep, I don't want a '90 Jeep at all anymore. Even if it ran perfectly, it's still painstaking to drive on the highway because it's so loud, and cruising at 70 is pushing the motor. I'm going to be doing a lot more highway trips during the next few years, and the Jeep just won't cut it. It's not an option; I want it gone.
I just need something practical and reliable, to replace the Jeep for now and (shortly) the Z. I don't intend to mod it, or for it to be fast, or great looking, I just want something that can give me the piece of mind that it won't break if I go far, or that will run just fine in the rain (yes, the Jeep hardly runs in the rain).
As far as leasing, lease rates are cheaper than buying, simple as that.
Next stage of my life is coming up, it's time to make some changes.
