Message sentence. Depending on your driving habits and regular maintenance a long life has been attained on higher horsepower VG30DETT's. I would consider researching all the extra items that would help engine longevity. Hi flow thermostat, block cast water passage clearing and upgraded radiator, and some water wetter additive for the water cooling properties. Replacing the oil pump, running full synthetic after break in and upgrading oil cooler for the oil cooling properties. For the machine shop, resurface the heads and block for optimum clearences, a near perfect honing, replace the pistons and Swain coat the pistons & rings, swain coat the heads and valves as well to get you started.. to name just a few of the precautionary measures.

Just my $.02.

Good luck either way.
