Thanks for the info! How much was the programmer and how much? I searched for it after reading on zcontrol.net but it was alot more expensive the when he said on his site ($65 assembled) I could only find it as a kit for the price. But there is a reason :22 19 19 ……………why JWT uses same mapping in primary and safety timing maps. :22 18 18 ……………JWT knows that Z32 allways have problems with knock sensors :19 18 18 ………… code 34. So if they made conservative safety map than people would :19 18 18 ……..be complaining about power loss after they had $600 ecu upgrade. : ………………. There are lots of stupid idiots out there that don’t know about Safety, ALL people whant when they pay $600 is RAW power so : Foe JWT to guarantee power they had to scrap Knock map regardless : If the users will blow their motors. Summary on JWT theory: : “its all about making MO FOS happy for a short time at least” : :Fuel ……………………..This looks like professional type fuel mapping but :11.76 11.47 11.47………Its too rich, 10:1 fuel dumping. Almost rich as :11.13 10.76 10.57 …….stock fuel map. I was about to buy ASH Zemulator but soon as my Super Hero Mike(xtensive) gave me Zcontrol software and few ideas :On how things work I was on my way of tuning my own custom eproms for my car. :I really enjoy playing with ecus and eproms. :Ive tested my ZTT with 4 eproms allwready: GMS,JWT,Z1 and Stock :With GMS I lost power but thats good for safety of the motor :With JWT I felt lots of power but did not want to risk detonation :With ASH Z1 I felt more power than JWT plus I know that his knock map is conservative. Very good. :With Stock like I know very well was pretty much similar to JWT. :My personal ECU tuner grading: :ASH Z1 (A) :GINN (B-) :JWT (D-) :DEVIN (! don't know) :Now am selling my two original eproms from JWT and GMS. I dont need them anymore. :Now am runing my custom program, pritty much its mostly the masterpeace of ASHZ with my leaner fuel map, and more conservative timing map. I will soon try running very advanced timing map with water injection just to see how well will I do at the 1/4 mile track. :
