| The street tire wears forever. I've put on almost 25k miles and only wore two rears. I drive the car pretty hard too... I was going to try Yokos but I got a killer deal on another set of Nittos. I have Toyos on the truck and they are also a nice tire. I had Firestone SZ50s on the Trans Am but nobody seems to use them here. I assume its cause they don't offer 245/45/16. So my vote goes to Yoko if its a money issue. I can't honestly complain about my Nittos other than cost. I daily drive the car and spin pretty easily at my power level but I love the way Nittos let loose. Its easy to tell when they are going to spin and its not a rough grab when they hook back up. Very easy to control with these tires. They can be fun in the wet but isn't any tire with boost? The R's can't get traction on cold roads. The R2's are mounted and waiting use.
