Rob, Dan (510) is a real nice guy; more polite than you (like you used to be when Greg ran the shop and you were his mechanic). Am I supposed to worry that you are going to relay to Dan that I personally feel my Z32 was keeping up in the turns and could run down a straight at a quicker rate than his nice yellow 510? Maybe I should be, since I know you will *instigate as you do to make him think I'm unnecessarily bitter towards him? Have him read the thread himself; it’s only observation. I have nothing against the Z33, however, I genuinely prefer the Z32TT. To me, the Z33 doesn’t make any significant improvements (except for easily bought brakes). I wish it hit the mark better, in that case I'd buy one so I could have a warranty. The Z33 has grown on me, but your outrageous claims (healthy stage III TTs should be losing to stage II 350s, please!), really require backing. Don’t pride yourself with beating boost leaking, ill maintained or relatively slow to begin with TTs. My stage II car showed a higher acceleration than your stage III 350 with headers when we raced, which you put every effort to stop. We quit early due to your etiquette (random excuse for speed on public roads when earlier you dangerously slowed down traffic on a 65mph hwy to 20mph repeatedly and kept running to 120mph, and when you drove your unfair jumping at the second honk, not to mention your silly wanting to race from 2500 rpms?!? A race starts as a race, not as a disadvantage) and unwillingness for purposeful pulls when my car was starting to get down. Over the years you/SP have never fully respected the Z32, a car that is equally if not more capable than a Z33. To me, it seems like you naturally are a Mustang guy, since you can’t sit back and accept/watch objective runs (the only ones you realize are biased ones where coincidence helps you). It is comical to me that you wasted your money to buy a Z32. As for Donna, lets clarify. You are claiming that with 5 minutes left in that session she was only warming up? Are you also claiming she was completely consumed watching my every move in her rearview mirror? If so, wow, last time I drove a racetrack at triple digit speeds I found the need to focus the majority of my effort into forward looking/driving with only quick glances to the rear. If anyone is at a position to comment, wouldn’t it be the person behind; as I intentionally claimed to have done? I already mentioned what factors kept me trailing her at the pace I did; when I resolve those, things will be more pronounced. Going after her at a bad time for my car, it was not my intent to get in front of her when I was planning on exiting the next lap after sizing up her car. With my experience, I don’t need 10 laps to get an impression. If Donna feels her lap was at sub-par, so be it, then my observations need to be revisited. I’m willing to give her the benefit of the doubt, and leave it to another time. Your comment about you being always faster, and not noting an instance where you could be just shows how immature you’ll continue to act during any race between us. IF ever possible to do a FAIR and friendly race with you and you won, I would extend major props. Unfortunately, attitude keeps getting in the way, and it seems unlikely you could do the same in that position. For this very reason, I’m disappointed in myself for responding. With you, it is your way or no way, no matter how wrong you are. It isn’t worth my time to quibble with you, I’ve put up with your attitude and ran what I brought, yet the only results I get at the end of each encounter is a mouthful of “defensive” excuses only from you. Even if I do prove it all, you’ll have some excuse. I’m not the only one who feels this way, I know of a SoCal 510 owner who was willing to put up his pink slip to shut down your 510’s smack talk, which when push came to shove you backed off… The bickering between us needs to stop. It is foolish and not worth my time.
