Message You will eventually break one. They are weak.

I have actually been driving it easier since the first broken axle. Back then I launched at 6-7K, now it is down to 4K rpm launch.

I lift off the gas when I shift (in the past I did not).

You are not likely to see any body run these speeds with my ECU, it is designed for pump gas. You know that you cannot get too agressive on pump gas. I use my timeslip as a marketing tool for my tuning ability, not for what my ECU will do.

I would not say that I only track tune. I actually do 95% of my tuning on the highway. Only small final tuning is done at the track, and that is the race gas program only (I do not run race gas unless at the track). I feel that this is the best way to tune, but I have no problem with differing ideas.

This morning I spent way too much time defending what you and I do.

It would be nice if everyone would "play nice". In that I mean tell why you do what you do, and market your products based on the your reputation. I am not going to criticize other companies, I am setting out the facts and letting the customer make an informed decision. If they do not want to buy from me, so be it. If another company makes a faster car, so be it.

We have very different tuning philosophies. Can we ultimatley prove one better than the other without leaving anything for the other person to nit-pick? No. If we try to prove why the other guy sucks, we are wasting our time.

New Year's resolutions, aren't they great?
