He asked about buying a chip, or a "chipped" ECU. I equate this to an AshZ ECU (Not Zem), or JWT general tune stage 3 ECU. Any local electronics shop should be able to desolder the original prom and burn a bin file to a 27c256, or 29c256 chip for less than $50. If you have the ability to desolder yourself, then I'm 100% positive you could find someone to burn a bin file for you and the only cost would be the chip itself. Now if you want total control of your tuning, dynamic ability, etc, etc. then I agree with you. I don't want people thinking they have to spend over $700 to self chip their ECU is all. Mike
