Yes, I agree. I think there are some jerks out there that are just pompous because they either have been here for a while or have figured out how to graduate from newbiehood. However, I do see some newbies on here that get flamed justly. What I mean is that when someone comes and asks a dumb question that was in the post right above them, maybe they deserve it a little. I've been a newbie for quite a while and can't figure out how to shake it, but I've always tried to listen to tips that the veterans put out and I read before I post. Yes, I've said a few dumb things or got confused (like any normal newbie does) and I got flamed for it. I think it was merited and part of the process. But unmerited flaming jsut so some can go off on a power trip is not.
