Message coupe. Interesting setup, really.... But the approach to getting the extra fuel into the cylinders and the lack of ignition timing retard while under boost presents a catastrophic combination for the engine. The unfortunate part about the new ECUs used in the 350/G35 is the fact it is a proprietary architecture, developed by Nissan. Only they have the schematics and information on that little chip in the black box which makes the reverse engineering of that device utterly impossible. Being able to 'tune' that ECU is the only way to be able to make that setup work reliably as well as realize its full potential.... We (Z1) are entertaining the idea of using a Z32 ECU and modifying the wiring harness... (its still in the first trimester so we may abort that idea. ;-) But we're always looking for new ways to have fun..

BTW: Z32 stage3 vs. supercharged 350Z would be a good race, but that SC will start to hurt him at higher speeds (RPM) and you would likely walk him over 60-70MPH.
