chip and you make direct, immediate changes to the parameters even while the engine is running. .bin file tuning, or 'chip tuning' on a dyno is laborious and time consuming. At $100-$150 an hour, you'll spend at least 2X longer tuning your car with 'chip tuning'. The ZEM is much quicker and easier to do. Not to mention, 'chip tuning' doesn't give you real-time trace and datalogging capability, of which the ZEM does do. You can also link in any sensor you wish and display as well as datalog with it. You can also save your mappings in the ZEM too so if you want to load a different program, it takes literally 5 seconds to do.
