| Stainless Steel has a lower thermo threshold than that of connelly which is what the factories are. Thus if you replace them with SST you will in fact by downgrading. SST on intake side is fine tho. And while for about 90% of the people out there who won't have the higher cylinder pressure (IE heat as well PV=nRT) it maybe ok but why risk it? The costs are not that much more for the Super Alloy valves. Also since we are talking topend and drivability. The JWT 400+ Cams are a great choice versus the Tomei simply because they are made to continue the use of the VTC. Tomei are great but with those turbos you are not really needing anymore cam. Also with either turbo you don't need much over 7400RPMS of power band so don't need super exotic valve train. So I would adjust to the following Eagle H-Beam Rods (cheap rather use Pauter :-) Weisco or Endyne Pistons (9:1 yes versus 8.5:1) JWT Heavy Duty VTC springs JWT Heavy Duty valve springs JWT 400+ Cams Titanium retainers are nice (I had a few sets made) 94+ intake cam gears (I have forsale and mine are adjustable) Tomei adjustable exhaust cam gears (I have set for sale as well) Stillen Side mount intercoolers or UAS or Apollo 3.5" thick intercooler (BTW I have one for sale 3.5") Stillen Oil Cooler HOWE, KOYO, or PWR radiator is fine. RPS Twin carbon clutch yes its expensive but it gives stock pedal feel and will hold up to wear and the power. Nismo 720 injectors is all you need Dual air intake E-Manage or custom chip or etc for fuel management. SPL Subframe spacers or GD Now the turbo kit. I personally don't think you can beat the power and price advantage of the Greddy Td05-16G kit. You will have to get it reinforced by SGP but its the only kit that comes with manifolds, turbos, external wastegates, and piping usually be had for the 5K range. Compare that to HKS2530s and GD new exhaust manifolds you are the same price range yet lower on power. I will say that Greg Duprees exhaust manifolds look sweet and will most likely hold up alot better now if he would make them use an external wastegate then we would be really talking and drop some t3/t04E-50 turbos on those and drop the price down by another 300 bucks. But when its all said and done you need to be honest with what you want out of the car. Alot of people ask me about this and that and my question is how horsepower is enough (yes a circular arguement). So basically get a TD05-16Gs (don't upgrade them to 18Gs not worth it to much lag gained). And if that does make enough power for you run a NX 100shot :-)
