Message	a suburban with 454. She pulls a boat or horse trailer up to lake Powell up steep grades. The automatic has the torque converter . Of course it requires extra cooling. Try from a standing stop letting out the clutch on 7K or 9Klbs load with a manual. You would burn the clutch up .
