this past summer my 11 year old brother took a rock to the eye while playing with a sling shot. he had to have two emergency surgeries after his retna detached and still has to have another to put a new perminate lens in. his pupil now perminatly off center of the color part of his eye. even after the new lens is put in, his vision in that eye will be at best about 20-400 which the doctor says is what its like seeing with your eyes open under water. hes doing good now but the emotional stress caused by it was almost as bad as the injury itself, he was finally able to go back to school a couple of weeks ago.
