I agree, datalogging and running in a real world setup is MUCH better. Plus you can catch real world problems that you'd never see on a dyno. For example, turbulence in the vicinity of the POP chargers can cause problems at speed, but you'd never see them in a dyno situation.
Only downside is you don't get a RWHP number to brag about. But you clearly do get 1/4 mile numbers to brag about! Congrats Chip!
BTW, what setup are you running for the wideband datalogging? I am in the market for such a setup myself.
