The #1 point that I have heard from the Supra Gurus is that the inline design, 7 main bearings, harmonics, etc, equate to it being able to make more torque per HP because of less parasitic losses to friction and harmonics. I'm just not convinced with the empirical data I've seen, albeit a small sample.
