Message	against it. I agree with your general assessment that probably the most reliable, rock solid, trouble-free engine would be stock, and that it will hold up well to your HP goals. If you could afford it, I would buy a new long block and drop it in, mod around it with the turbos, IC's, and injectors to get the results you want.
