| when the grit additive is used in the epoxy. However I did notice that when there was some coolant in the mix, I did slip a bit. I am sure that oil would also be slippery as well. I guess there is a tradeoff as if you have too much grip/texture then the floor starts accumulating stuff and will get very dirty. With the current grit additive the floor stays clean and mops up very easily. I typically just mop up the floor with hot water and simple green. For tough messes, I just spray on some brake cleaner and clean up the mess/stain. So far the only thing that I have not been able to remove is 2 part epoxy based paint that I accidentally dropped on it and let dry. Also this epoxy is very durable. I have had brake fluid and coolant sit on the floor for weeks and the epoxy was not affected. One last thing on the grit additive. It is pretty amazing as it is grippy enough to prevent slipping when yet, but is smooth enough such that you can lay on it and move around under the car and not get scrapped up. Believe me that I have spent a ton of time under my cars in awkard positions. I will try to find out the exact name of the product and the cost, but I do remember that it was costly. Close to $100/gal. Glenn
