The timing belt snapped last week, conveniently in time for me to send it to Ultimate Z for the turbos and everything anyway. They really got into it today and figured out what caused the timing belt to snap, but Chris says he can't figure out why this happened. I don't know if this should be in technical, but it's not really asking how to do something, just why something happened. The cam siezed. Basically, he's now going to have to take apart the head to figure out what he has to replace, but we're looking at another $1100 to $1500 in parts between best and worst case scenario. What could cause a cam to sieze though, any ideas?
