Message	an easy $20 (max) spent for reassurance. The switch itself is really cheap, the wires even cheaper, just make sure you clean up the wire so that it is REALLY hard to trace. Clean install is the key. Make sure you make the connection absolutely solid, because if it comes lose on you, you could be in danger.
