I know some people spend lots of money on fancy car alarms and monitoring devices, but I am under the assumption that if a thief wants your car, they'll figure out in no time how to disable that alarm, or bypass it etc. I think installing a killswitch, by yourself, on your own, is another good safety precaution. Even with an alarm. Unless they tow it, or trace the wiring for the fuel pump, without looking conspicuous, they really have no chane of taking the car. Although this does not prevent them from stealing parts of the car, thats what the conventional alarm is for. I just think this is good security for something you're going to invest your money and time into. I dunno, maybe I am wrong on this one, but I def don't see it as hurting.Sorry about your car, and I really hope that you find them. Wish I could do more.
