Supposedly a lot of the JDM ECU tuners would tune to a specific set up or a customer specific applications. So a lot of JDM ecus (Mines, Central 20, JUN, etc.) are specific application precise. But, there were some ECU eproms that much like the JWT's and Z1's of the UA, were off the shelf models. Unless your getting the ecu at nearly nothing or you know the exact application/specifications of said ECU I would consider no as your final answer. ECU upgrades have dropped extremely low in the last year. Call up either JWT, Boost Solutions or Z1 and get something a bit more specific to your car's application. Good luck either way.
